Dr. Cheryl Callaghan
Dr. Callaghan was born and raised in the Salt Lake City area. Dr. Callaghan has been in Pocatello with her husband since 1996. Dr. Cheryl and her family enjoy spending quality family time in the outdoors.
Dr. Callaghan is a board certified ob/gyn and specializes in gynecological issues including: annual (yearly or wellness) examinations, normal and abnormal pap smear testing and treatment, birth control management, polycystic ovary syndrome, endometriosis, laparoscopic hysterectomy, complex laparoscopy surgery.

Dr. Joel Carlson
Dr. Carlson came to Pocatello with his family from Des Moines, Iowa. They love Pocatello and all of the outdoor activities it has to offer, especially golf and skiing.
Dr. Carlson is a board certified ob/gyn and specializes in obstetrics and gynecology including regular and high risk pregnancies, workup and treatment of abnormal pap smears, annual (yearly or wellness) examinations. Dr. Carlson performs urinary incontinence testing and surgeries and complex gynecological surgeries. Dr. Carlson is also certified to perform the Essure permanent birth control procedure. Dr. Carlson provides in-office hysteroscopy and ablation for heavy periods.

Dr. Kim Cox
Dr. Cox and his wife are from Pocatello. Dr. Cox and his family enjoy participating and supporting each other in team sports, hiking, river rafting, and all things family.
Dr. Cox is a board certified ob/gyn. He specializes in obstetrics and gynecology which include: normal and high risk obstetrics, ultrasound imaging, workup and treatment of urinary incontinence, annual (yearly or wellness) exams, infertility, and gynecological surgeries.

Dr. Donald Dyer
Dr. Dyer has been in Pocatello for over 30 years when he and his wife relocated from Memphis Tennessee. Dr. Dyer’s children have all grown up and started their own families. Dr. Dyer enjoys spending time with his grandchildren and telling stories about them.
Dr. Dyer is a board certified ob/gyn where he offers both obstetrical and gynecology care for women of all ages, including normal and high risk obstetrics, annual examinations, colposcopies, birth control management, pelvic prolapse surgery, hysterectomy and other gynecological surgeries. Dr. Dyer is a Certified Clinical Bone Densitometrist for osteoporosis testing. Dr. Dyer also works for ISU Family Medicine and the Pocatello Women’s Correctional Center.

Dr. Michael Jones
Dr. Jones started in Pocatello at the ISU family residency to begin his career as a family practice physician. Shortly after that, he realized obstetrics and gynecology was what he wanted to do and changed to a ob gyn residency in Lubbock Texas. Dr. Jones completed residency in 2007 and now he and his family have come back to Pocatello.
Dr. Jones is board eligible. Dr. Jones is accepting patients for obstetrics and gynecology, including normal and high risk obstetrics, workup and treatment of abnormal pap smears, colposcopies, endometriosis, preventative medicine, work up and treatment of urinary incontinence and gynecology surgeries.

Dr. Carole Shelley
Dr. Carole Shelley joined us as an associate in August, 2008. She moved to Pocatello from Scottsdale, Arizona where she has been working in a private practice. She graduated from The Chicago Medical School in 1995 and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Cincinnati in 1999. She is board certified and she was awarded as a top doctor in North Scottsdale magazine in 2005.
Dr. Shelley is currently welcoming new patients for pregnancy (low and high risk), annual exams and any gynecological issues ranging from abnormal bleeding to pelvic pain. She performs surgery as well and has a special interest in laparoscopic procedures.
Dr. Shelley is married to an interventional radiologist, Dr. David Shelley and they have two daughters. They are excited to be living where there are seasons again and they can’t wait to get up on the slopes.

Tracy Gibson CNM, MSN
Tracy decided to become a midwife following her own births by a nurse midwife. She started her dream by working for many years as a RN in labor and delivery. After completion of graduate school from the University of Kentucky in 1997 she has been loving and serving in midwifery since.
Tracy and her husband Dale have been married 26 years and are enjoying having an empty nest. Her interests include reading, hiking, boating, and anything outdoors.
Nicole Lamb CNM, MSN
Nicole earned her B.S.N. in nursing from Montana State University in 1996 and her interest and love for midwifery began when she was working as a public health nurse and grew while she was pregnant with her first child in 1999. She earned her certificate in Nurse Midwifery from Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing in 2005.
Nicole's professional experience includes seven years as a labor and delivery RN, Lamaze educator and Birthing From Within Mentor. Prior to that she worked as a public health nurse, home health nurse and perinatal case manager.
Nicole has two children ages 6 and 8 and has been married for 11 years to a wonderful orchestra musician, Michael. Her interest include childbirth education, anything outdoors, cooking, belly dancing, and spending time with friend and family.
Julie Muckerman, CNM, FNP
Julie received her BA in psychology from Covenant College in 2006. She then went on to become an RN and to complete her studies in nurse-midwifery and family practice nursing at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. She became interested in and grew to love midwifery after living in England for seven years, where care by midwives is normal OB care. She enjoys spending time with her husband, reading, doing pottery, gardening, and being outside.

Janelise Gunning, NP
After obtaining her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing in 1993 from Beth-El College of Nursing in Colorado Springs, Colorado Janelise moved to Pocatello, Idaho. Janelise worked as a labor and delivery nurse at various hospitals in southeast Idaho before returning to school to receive her graduate degree. She received her Master of Science degree as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner in 2004 from Univesity of Utah. She is an affiliate faculty for Idaho State University working with nursing and nurse practitioner students in the clinical setting.
Janelise enjoys all aspects of women’s healthcare including adolescence, obstetrical and gynecological care and helping women transition through the menopause and beyond.
Janelise is married with a combined family of four children and two beagles. She takes pleasure in cooking, especially trying new recipes. In the summer most of her time is spent cultivating her flower garden.

Cynthia Bunde, PA-C
Cindy Bunde is a Pocatello native, graduating with her B.S. in Biology and Physician Assistant Studies from Idaho State University. She also has a Master's from University of Nebraska Medical Center, with an emphasis in women's health. She enjoys caring for women, as a partner in their health care. Cindy can provide preventative, gynecological, contraceptive, primary care, prenatal/postpartum and mental health services.
Cindy also is a full time faculty member in the Deparment of Physician Assistant Studies at ISU and volunteers with several organizations serving health care needs of the poor and homeless in our community. She loves outdoor activities with her husband and two kids.
